Julia and Mason met through mutual friends in the fall of 2017, their freshman year of college at the University of Kentucky. They quickly became close friends and started dating in early 2018. After graduating college in they moved down to Mason's hometown of Ocean Springs, Mississippi. Where he later proposed to Julia under the Christmas lights at Bellingrath Gardens, ugh my heart.
